Welcome
Welcome to BluecodProductions - Your place for objective dive gear reviews!
On this site you find information about relevant gear that works for divers who don't mind to go diving in cold and dark waters. Or for those who simply like quality equipment.
The focus is on anything that improves your safety, from reliable Strobe Lights to reflective SOLAS stickers for your SMB, or a slightly more unusual device as the Rescue Streamer - perhaps it hasn't been on your radar yet, but it could help you onto the radar of others.
Manufacturer's websites often feature only low-resolution pictures of the products for sale. Figuring we were not the only divers looking for additional user experience and better quality pictures, the findings went on this site as independent reviews. With a bit of luck, you'll find some useful information on this site.
Articles are added whenever we come across something of interest, or a product receives a significant upgrade, such as the Poseidon XStream Deep 90 in the Mk3 revision.
Last but not least, our private dive trips may offer some inspiration, too.
Places we've been diving so far:
- United Kingdom (Vobster Quay, Pembrokeshire, ...)
- Spain (Medes Islands Marine Reserve)
- Turkey (Fethiye, Kas)
- Bahamas (Bimini)
- Alp Lakes in Germany (Bodensee)
- Austria (Attersee, Blindsee, Walchensee, Wolfgangsee, Grüner See, Grundelsee, Ice Diving...)
- Fiji (Waya II)
- New Zealand (Poor Knight's Islands)
- Australia (Flinder's Reef; drift dives along Morten Island)
- Croatia (Krk)
- Sweden, Thailand, Malta and Iceland are on the list for the future, and hopefully Galapagos, Antarctica and the Polar Regions sometime too. Actually, Antarctica ranks as the ultimate dream-diving destination for us. We will get there.
If you've got questions, comments, ideas, requests - please use the comment feature on the articles or contact us!

We believe the marine environment needs stronger enforcement of standards and laws already on place, and first and foremost people should take a greater interest in what they eat and the sustainability of marine fishing practises.
